Founded in 2011 by Dutch sisters Violet and Liesbeth, POM Amsterdam is inspired by the design duo’s native city and the way scarves tell stories. The POM in POM Amsterdam is short for ‘Pieces of Mine’, reflecting this view that an elegant scarf expresses the wearer’s personality. Each piece is woven in France and manufactured in the Netherlands using specialised double-sided digital silk printing, with colourful prints, boho fringe details and playful pompoms.
